قَضَتِ الدُّكْتُورَةُ مَرْيَمُ خَمْسَ سَنَوَاتٍ فِي مُخْتَبَرِهَا تُجْرِي أَبْحَاثًا عَنْ عِلَاجٍ جَدِيدٍ لِمَرَضٍ نَادِرٍ يُصِيبُ الْأَطْفَالَ. فَشِلَتْ مِئَاتُ التَّجَارِبِ، لَكِنَّهَا لَمْ تَسْتَسْلِمْ.
Transliteration
qaḍati ad-duktūratu Maryamu khamsa sanawātin fī mukhtabarihā tujrī abḥāthan ʿan ʿilājin jadīdin li-maraḍin nādirin yuṣību al-aṭfāla. fashilat miʾātu at-tajāribi, lākinnahā lam tastaslim.
English translation
Dr. Maryam spent five years in her laboratory conducting research on a new treatment for a rare disease affecting children.
